Cancellation Policy

GENERAL POLICY GUIDELINES

Same Day Cancellation:
If the client cancels their hearing on the Docketly site the same day it is scheduled, the covering attorney will receive 100% of the fee.

Cancellation within 24 hours:
If the hearing is cancelled within 24 hours of when it is scheduled, the fee to the covering attorney will be 50% of the original posted fee.

EXCEPTIONS

Bundle and Super Bundle Exceptions:
In instances when there is a cancelled hearing within a bundle of non-cancelled hearings, the covering attorney will still receive fees for the cancelled hearing based on the above listed same day and 24 hour guidelines.  However, the overall bundle rate will be adjusted to reflect the decreased number of hearings the attorney is covering, and the attorney will be expected to cover the non-cancelled hearings.
