Getting Started

This handbook is meant to be the definitive guide to using our service.  It explains our features and processes in depth.  You might never need such detail but it exists as a reference for the time you do.  You are not expected to understand all the information in detail.  We do expect that you know that this resource exists and you will turn to it in situations that you have questions.

Just like with anything new, there are a few things you should understand before you dive in.  So let's briefly touch on those so you can get on your way!

Terms of Use

The Terms of Use agreement may be found at the bottom of every page of the Docketly site. It is required that all users sign it in order to use Docketly services.

Get Help

In most situations, we want you to reach out to us first and as soon as possible.  Consequently, Docketly has many options in terms of customer support.

Our preference is receiving support tickets.  When a support ticket is created it usually generates a wealth of information so our agents can address the issue with some investigation already completed. Support tickets can be created either by emailing directly to: mail@docketly.com or clicking the blue "Tickets" button on the left-hand side of your home page.

If you prefer to speak to an agent over the phone, you can always call us at: 800-910-1492.

As with the Terms of Use, there is a link to email us a ticket and our phone number listed at the bottom of every page of the Docketly website.

Finding Hearings

Hearings are posted by our clients constantly.  Any hearings that match your location and qualifications can be sent to you via email, text, and through our app.  Hearings notifications are simply notifications.  You will still have to visit our website and confirm the appearance to claim it for yourself.  This is done on a first come, first served basis.

For more information on finding hearings, please dig into our handbook page: Finding Hearings

Reporting On Your Hearing

Once the hearing is over, you are expected to return to our website and fill out your hearing report.  This should be done as soon as you are able.  The questions are all pretty simple and pre-defined.  We do not accept emails or faxes of your report.  Filling out our form helps us get the right information into the correct systems.

Payment

Paper checks are mailed out once a month.  ACH payments are made 3-4 times per month.
