Destroy Hearing Documents
Our clients are very focused on compliance and security.
The documentation they provide for their hearings can contain very personal information that should be safeguarded.
Please review the hearing's special instructions. Sometimes, our clients want you to mail original orders to their office. But, outside those specific instances, once the hearing is complete, and you have uploaded any relevant orders, minute sheets, and/or other documents received at court to your hearing report, you will need to shred and/or otherwise destroy the remaining documents.
You will have access to all uploaded documents in your reports for one year as that is the length of time Docketly safely stores it on our servers.
There is a verification box on the hearing report page that you must click on to confirm that you have destroyed the hearing documents.
Additional information regarding the policy of document safeguarding is also available in our Terms of Use.
The Terms of Use agreement may be found at the bottom of every page of the Docketly site. It is required that all users sign it to use Docketly services.
