Reports

In-house attorneys are encouraged to use the Docketly reporting capability to fully complete the lifecycle of a hearing.

However, there are a few differences between normal appearance counsel reports and in-house reports that you should be aware of.

Overdue Reports

Docketly does not remind or pester in-house attorneys to complete their reports.  Attorneys may have reported via other means internally so we want to be courteous in those situations.

Docketly does require a hearing report to complete the lifecycle of a hearing and sent it to billing.  Docketly will auto-create a very basic report if one was not submitted 72 hours after the hearing time.  No data will be in the report other than a simple narrative which says something like:

The in-house attorney did not report through Docketly in a timely manner so this report was auto-generated. See covering attorney or your own case management system for results.
