In-Person vs. Telephonic Appearances

In-Person vs. Telephonic Appearances

By selecting an appearance that is in-person, you agree to appear in the appropriate courtroom at the date and time posted on the hearing page. The only party allowed to change the appearance method is the client. If they switch the appearance method to telephonic after you accept it, only then may you appear telephonically. Appearing at an in-person hearing telephonically when a client does not expressly authorize it may result in an FTA and nonpayment.

If you agree to appear at an in-person hearing and cancel because it is not telephonic, you may face removal of points, suspension or even removal from our network. Our Performance Department will evaluate each occurrence on a case-by-case basis and take appropriate action.

Please note that if you have information from the court that an in-person appearance has been changed to a telephonic appearance, notify Docketly so we can notify the client.
