Court Fee

In our nationwide coverage, we have found there are just a few courts that require the appearing attorney to pay a fee to enter a temporary appearance. We are able to track the courts that do this and set them up in our system so that the charge is passed on to the client.

You will see a "Court Fee Included" added on to your hearings. It can vary from court to court. This amount is already included in "Fee to Attorney".

Cancellation

As we found that most of these court fees are paid in advance via an electronic service, attorneys suffer an undue burden when the hearing is cancelled. Therefore, the fee will remain in place if the hearing is canceled within 48 hours of the hearing. We exclude weekends, just like in our normal cancellation policy.
