Updating Your Picture

Updating Your Picture

We at Docketly like to put a face to a name.  There are two locations where your picture can be uploaded.  Each location allows your image to be viewed by different groups, under different circumstances.

Your profile picture is an image you can update within your profile information on the Docketly home page. It is internal to Docketly and not visible to our clients.

Your avatar can be updated through your compliance documentation.  It is visible on your Attorney Overview page and accessible to all of Docketly and our clients.

To update your profile picture

  1. Select the drop down by your name in the upper left side of the home screen, then select "Profile"

  2. Click on the blue "Change" link to the right.

  3. Select "Choose File" and navigate to where the image is stored on your computer.

    • Your file must be 200 x 200 pixels

    • We are only able to accept JPEG files at this time.

  4. Click on the orange "Upload" button.

  5. You will be prompted to crop the image to fit the image box.

  6. Once you have the image centered and adjusted accordingly, please click the orange "Save" button.

To update your avatar

If you have already updated a profile picture, our system will automatically send it through as an avatar picture to our Performance team for approval and validation. However, if you would like to load a picture separately through your Compliance documents, here are the instructions.

  1. Click on the orange "Compliance" button to the left side of the home screen.

  2. Scroll to the "Upload" section in the middle of the page and select "Avatar" from the Category drop down. You do not have to select a state.

  3. Select "Choose File" and navigate to where the image is stored on your computer.

    • Your file must be 200 x 200 pixels

  4. Click on the grey "Upload" button directly under "Choose File"

  5. This will send the image file to our Performance Team. Because this image is client facing, they will need to validate or decline the image.

    • If the image is declined, you will be sent an email with information as to why.
